About Certified Comfort Heating & Cooling
Raising the standard of home comfort in Parker, Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, and surrounding areas
Built on discipline, driven by integrity
Certified Comfort Heating & Cooling exists to raise the standard of the HVAC industry.
For most homeowners, HVAC problems are stressful. Systems are complex, repairs are expensive, and it is hard to know who to trust when you cannot see what is happening inside your equipment.
Certified Comfort Heating & Cooling was formed to change that experience.
A different approach to HVAC service
Certified Comfort Heating & Cooling was founded by a military veteran with over 15 years of HVAC experience.
After years working for large, sales-driven HVAC service providers, one thing became clear: too many companies prioritize transactions over trust.
Homeowners are often rushed into decisions, overwhelmed with technical language, or pressured by fear-based recommendations. That approach may create short-term sales, but it destroys long-term trust.
Certified Comfort Heating & Cooling was built as a different kind of HVAC company — one that values discipline, accountability, and doing what is right, even when no one is watching.
Meet our founder
Ryan Findlay is a US Army veteran who entered the HVAC trade in 2001 as a 52C Utilities Equipment Repairer. Over the course of four years of active service, he advanced to the rank of Specialist (E-4), where technical precision and strict adherence to procedure were part of every assignment. Military technical training leaves very little room for guesswork. When repairing utilities equipment in the Army, components must be diagnosed accurately, mechanical standards must be met, and safety protocols are never skipped. That environment instilled the discipline, precision, and accountability that continue to define his approach to HVAC work today.
Those principles ultimately led Ryan to found Certified Comfort Heating & Cooling. The company was built around disciplined workmanship, technical precision, transparent communication, and fixed upfront pricing. Every service call and equipment installation follows a structured process designed to give homeowners confidence that the work is done correctly and with complete accountability.
Today, he has approximately 18 years of hands-on HVAC experience, along with professional experience as a diesel mechanic and personal trainer. He is EPA-certified and has completed manufacturer-specific HVAC training. Ryan combines that technical expertise with the discipline and integrity developed throughout his career to deliver dependable, high-quality HVAC solutions for every customer.
